"According to the AAFP, payment methods and the amounts paid for medical home pilots and demonstration projects vary greatly. Collaboratives experimenting with different payment methods could be a way to determine the best forms of payment for medical home services. Colorado's move to create their own payment structure may help other organizations in deciding on the type of payment method that's essential for their own organization, whether that be a multi-payor initiative like Colorado's or another type of model."
