June 18, 2009

MANASQUAN, NJ, USA — The National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare will present current developments in the patient-centered medical home model and evidence-based approaches to integration of primary care and behavioral health during "Integrating Primary Care & Behavioral Health in the Medical Home," a 45-minute webinar scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Eastern on July 1, 2009.

“With SAMHSA proposing to fund six community mental health centers for five years for up to $500,000 each to develop medical home programs for consumers, it is a good time to determine which medical home services are most advantageous and should be put in place for certain populations, such as adults with chronic mental illnesses."
