1.) North Dakota Establishes a Single System for State Government Information with FileNet Enterprise Content Management

FileNet Corporation, a provider of Enterprise Content and Business Process Management solutions, announced that the State of North Dakota has implemented a government-wide ECM solution built on the FileNet P8 platform. Additionally, the company announced that the State declared FileNet Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions as a standard for all state government agenciesí business process, imaging, records and content management requirements ≠ becoming the tenth state in the nation to do so.

2.) Health Access Solutions Licenses Access Express Software To Santa Clara Valley Medical Center

Health Access Solutions, the software marketing division of Pacific Partners Management Services, Inc. (PPMSI), announced that Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC) has selected their web-based Access Express(tm) software to automate health system managed care communications. Beginning next month, Access Express will manage and track authorizations and referrals for 60,000 Valley Health Plan HMO members and 200,000 additional SCVMC patients covered by public programs or private insurance. This extends the existing business relationship between Valley Health Plan and Pacific Partners Management Services, Inc.

4.) Zix Corporation Email Encryption Services Selected by Jewish Health and Home

Zix Corporation, a provider of hosted services for email encryption and e-prescribing, announced that Jewish Home & Hospital Lifecare System (JHHLS) has signed a three-year contract for ZixCorp's Email Encryption Service to protect outbound communication for 1,100 users. "ZixCorp's impressive client list and success rate in the healthcare sector gave us confidence with our email encryption decision," said Peter Bloom, Director of IT Technical Services, Telecommunications and Corporate ISO for JHHLS. "Patient confidentiality is at the forefront of our concerns and we needed a solution that was easy to use and flexible. Using a hosted email encryption service allowed us to secure our communications and protect our patients with little work required on our end. ZixCorp was encrypting our email in less than 24 hours."
