What We Learned: The Healthcare Intelligence Network Medical Homes in 2010 e-survey captured the dynamics of the PCMH experience for more than 156 healthcare organizations. According to responding organizations, the time required for a medical home conversion is:
One year to 18 months: 37 percent
18 months to two years: 23 percent
Less than a year: 16 percent
More than two years: 12 percent
Other: 12 percent
