What's the ROI from Case Management? What We Learned: The Healthcare Intelligence Network's Second Annual Case Management e-survey conducted in January 2011 captured the details of contemporary case management and case management-driven results in healthcare utilization, cost and compliance from 201 healthcare organizations. According to survey respondents, their case management programs experienced the following ROI:

  • Less than 2:1: 4.0 percent
  • Between 2:1 and 3:1: 18.8 percent
  • Between 3:1 and 4:1: 4.0 percent
  • Higher than 4:1: 5.0 percent
  • Too early to tell: 10.9 percent
  • Don't know: 57.4 percent
