What We Learned: The 2010 Healthcare Intelligence Network's Healthcare Case Management e-survey captured the expanding focus, responsibilities and impact of case management in the healthcare industry, including the top five work locations for case managers:

  • Hospital discharge: 28.6 percent
  • Hospital ER: 16.1 percent
  • Employer sites: 14.3 percent
  • Hospital admissions: 14.3 percent
  • PCP office/community clinic: 12.5 percent
