Sponsored by: 21 Creative Wellness Program Promotional Strategies

21 Creative Wellness Program Promotional Strategies, a February 8, 2006 audio conference, will provide an inside look at the most effective strategies three different wellness professionals have used to boost participation and outcomes in their wellness programs.

Wellness programs are only as successful as the number of participants in the program. Getting individuals motivated to participate in programs is perhaps one of the biggest challenges that wellness professionals face.

During this 60-minute audio conference, your expert panel of speakers, William Baun, manager, human resources and wellness department at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Aaron Hardy, wellness coordinator with Washoe County School District, and Rebecca Kelly, wellness coordinator at American Cast Iron Pipe Company (ACIPCO) Health Services, will provide inside details on the creative wellness promotional strategies that they've used to spark interest and participation in their wellness programs.

Health savings accounts (HSAs) - created in December 2003 by the landmark Medicare reform law — have been called “the most significant change in health insurance since 1943.”

Virtually anyone with a high-deductible ($1,000 single, $2,000 family) insurance plan can open an HSA, into which employers, employees and other eligible individuals can contribute tax-free dollars that accrue tax-free interest. The best part of all: unused balances roll over from year to year, and HSAs can move with an employee from one employer to another.
