At the beginning of 2009, the number of uninsured Americans was estimated at 52 million. This white paper from the Healthcare Intelligence Network (HIN) is based on HIN’s May 2009 e-survey in which survey respondents shared the impact of the uninsured and underinsured on their organizations.
