EDS Returns to Georgia with $391 Million Medicaid Win
EDS has been awarded a seven-year, $391 million contract by the state of Georgia to design, develop and implement a new-generation Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS). The new system will provide fiscal agent and enrollment broker services and establish electronic health records (EHRs) for Medicaid recipients. This Web-based system will also provide Georgia with data analysis about healthcare trends and outcomes of the state’s Medicaid population to assess needs and impacts of current programs.
