Robert JenkinsRobert Jenkins is the president of the Healthcare Intelligence Network and the publisher and CEO of Health Resources Publishing. Mr. Jenkins has worked in or written about healthcare for more than 25 years. He served as a member of the management team at Monmouth Medical Center, a major teaching hospital in Long Branch, NJ, and has devoted his time over the past 15 years to researching, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on health and managed care business news and management information. He also served more than 10 years as a member of a hospital board of trustees, serving for five years as board chairman. Currently, he is treasurer of a major New Jersey regional integrated health care delivery system, the result of the merger of three hospital systems in central New Jersey. He is also past president of the Newsletter and Electronic Publishers Association.
Melanie MatthewsMelanie Matthews is the executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Healthcare Intelligence Network. Prior to joining the Healthcare Intelligence Network, Matthews was the managing editor at Health Resources Publishing, which produces 20 newsletters primarily in the healthcare industry. Matthews has been covering the healthcare industry as a journalist for 14 years. Matthews graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in journalism.
James Flanagan
James B. Flanagan, CPA, is the co-founder and former CEO of HCPro Corp. HCPro is the parent company of Opus Communications, The Greeley Company and HCPro.com, publishers of information resources for the healthcare industry. Mr. Flanagan was previously a partner with Arthur Andersen & Company, in charge of the firm's Northeast healthcare practice. He is also past president of the Newsletter and Electronic Publishers Association.
Richard OssoffRichard Ossoff is president and chief executive officer of Strafford Publications Inc., a leading national publisher of legal, business and healthcare information serves, including the most complete and current reporter of health law and litigation, Health Law Week. Mr. Ossoff is a graduate of Harvard Business School and was previously a consultant with McKinsey & Co. He is currently serving as president of the Specialized Information Publishers Association.
Cynthia CarterCynthia Carter is president of FDANews, an integrated media company serving the pharmaceutical and medical-device communities. Previously, she was a vice president and group publisher with Capitol Publications, overseeing more than 50 newsletters, books, and manuals in healthcare. She has been in the publishing industry for 20 years, and began her career as a journalist specializing in healthcare and nonprofit management fields. Ms. Carter currently serves on the Specialized Information Publishers Association board of directors.
